Fundraisers fund the Starlings!
February 11, 2016

Â
As the name suggests, fundraisers have been a main source of income for the Madison Starlings. Â The past two years, most of the funding for our program has come from the Color Run, with additional funding from a concession stand at East High School for an adult volleyball tournament. Â Over 30 kids and adults (guardians, coaches, supporters) have helped with the Color Run in the past, and have all had a blast. Â
Â
With our growing club, it is necessary to continue to do these fundraisers and more. Â We have FOUR amazing fundraisers this upcoming Spring and Summer that we are extremely excited for:
Â
Sunday, April 24th - Fired Up Pottery on Monona Drive in Madison will donate 30% of their proceeds from this day (gift certificates bought on this day are included)!
Â
Saturday, May 7th - We will be volunteering at the concessions stand at Madison East High School
Â
Saturday, May 21st - The Color Run! Â The kids and adults will volunteer to hand out packets and throwing the colors on the runners.
Â
Saturday, June 25th - This is the first year we will be helping out with The Bubble Run, and we are incredibly excited to have this fun opportunity.Â
Â
With the money raised from these events (along with all of the generous donations and grants), we will be able to continue bringing volleyball to those otherwise unable to participate. Â Helping those young athletes become not only better volleyball players, but guiding them through their adolescence. Â
